John Mayer

John Clayton Mayer (born October 16, 1977 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA) is a singer-songwriter who plays pop music. In 2003 he won the Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for the 2002 release of the single ‘Your Body Is a Wonderland.’ In February of 2005, he also won a Best Male Pop Vocal Performance Grammy for his song ‘Daughters’ of the album ‘Heavier Things’. He beat out, Elvis Costello, Josh Groban, Prince and Seal. He also took home the Grammy Award for Song Of The Year which is awarded to song writers, for the song ‘Daughters’. He dedicated that award to his Grandma, Annie Hoffman, who passed away in May of 2004.

Clay Cook
Atlanta native & resident Clay Cook has made his living through many avenues in the music industry over the past decade. A Berklee educated mulit- instrumentalist, he has recorded and toured with John Mayer, Sugarland, The Marshall Tucker Band, & Shawn Mullins. Although guitar is his first love, he's spent time on stage playing mandolin, pedal steel, keyboard instruments, & hand full of woodwinds. Along with his time as a solo artist, Cook has also written songs for Mayer & The Marshall Tucker Band.  Owner & operator of The Small Room Studio in Atlanta, he has produced & engineered records for local artists & the occasional national act.  Clay will start 2009 as a newly added member of The Zac Brown Band on mandolin, Hammond organ, pedal steel, & of course, a Two Rock amplified guitar.
