SETTINGS FOR J-2

looking for some basic settings for my new J-2.I play classic rock form the 70s and 80s.Have a gig tommorow and not enough time to experiment.Would appreciate any help.sincerely, rob

This comes far too late for your gig and you've probably worked out your settings on your own, but I've found that for guitars equipped with humbucking p/ups the following works best for me:

Treble: 2:00 to 2:30
Mid: 9-10:00
Bass: 9:00
Gain: 12-2:00
Lead gain: 2:00
Lead Master: 2:00
Reverb: to taste
Contour: shading toward 2:00.
For your single coil guitar, you can down the treble to 12:00 or below, bring up bass a tad, and move the contour to 10:00

This must be a sweet spot fro the J2, that' pretty much exactly where I keep mine. Smokin littl amp though. Amazing actually.
