Coming from Lincolnton, Georgia, Madison Easter is a 21 year-old Christian/Country guitarist who has blended influences from jazz, country, pop, and blues to create his own unique style of playing. He was recently awarded as the 2010 SGN Music Awards' Musician Of The Year.
Madison is no stranger to the stage. Growing up in a household filled with music and with his exposure to not only his parents' music, but also that of his grandparents on both sides of the family, music for him was inevitable. At 12 days old Madison made his first appearances on stage and in the public's eye. As Madison grew older, he began playing guitar. “One day, he was about 14, I heard music coming from his room. He had picked up his guitar and began teaching himself!” says his mother, Sheri. He continued to study his instrument, and also began writing lyrics as well as music. Aside from playing, he often works in various recording studios, playing for, and producing, different artists.
Madison has been a part of the Bill Gaither Homecoming video series, which has sold over 15 million units, and is one of the top selling music video series in Christian music. He tours over 100,000 miles per year, and has performed in many world-renowned venues including the Sydney Opera House. He's performed on the Grand Ole Opry multiple times, and has played alongside artists such as Marty Stuart, Vince Gill, and George Jones.
